Multiple Sclerosis (MS) - Neurolab Lázaro

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic, autoimmune and potentially disabling neurological disease that mainly affect young adults. In Spain there are about 47.000 people affected and 1800 new cases are diagnosed every year.

In addition to the care work we carry out training and research activities. In the clinical research unit we currently have numerous clinical trials and observational studies. Studies with different molecules and treatments for the different forms of presentation of the disease, as well as research to assess parameters such as quality of life, adherence to treatment or cognitive function among others. In addition, in basic research we have more than 100 international publications cited in pubmed.
